Rosh Hodesh Group: A Spiritual Life
October 1, November 12, December 17, January 21, February 25, March 18 (Women’s Seder), April 22 and May 13. at 7:30 p.m.

cdscRosh Hodesh, the holiday that celebrates the new moon, has traditionally been set aside as a time for women to rest from the hectic pace of their daily lives. This is a monthly women’s group geared toward deepening our Jewish learning and promoting spiritual growth. This year, guided by Merle Feld’s inspirational book, A Spiritual Life, we will be exploring everyday spirituality and Jewish identity through prose, poetry, and dialogue. Merle Feld’s book will be available for purchase directly from Rabbi Gurevitz for $20. Facilitated by Rabbi Gurevitz

Kulanu welcomes all gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender and questioning to our community. We meet for social gatherings, Shabbat dinners, study and discussion afternoons, cultural trips, and also organize educational opportunities for the wider community. Introduction to Judaism
Wednesdays, beginning October 14 at 7:00 pm

Have you ever wanted to learn more about the Jewish faith? This course offers you the opportunity to explore the values, history, language and traditions of Judaism, with no prior background required. It will be taught by an experienced Hebrew tutor, and many of our local area Rabbis, including Orthodox, Conservative and Reform perspectives.It is open to Jews and non-Jews alike, and will be limited to 15 students. Torah Study: The Book of Exodus
Saturdays beginning October 17 at 9:30 a.m.
Fulfill a Rosh Hashanah Resolution! Join us as we begin a New Book and a New Year of Torah Study. Every Saturday morningwe learnTorah together –Some attend 8:00 a.m. dfcdloservices, others arrive in time for the study group. Some participate every week and others drop in when they can. Some have solid biblical backgrounds and others are novices to the study. Some know Hebrew and most do not. Bottom Line – everyone is welcome! Join us for an enriching, enjoyable and engaging hour of weekly learning of our most sacred text.

It’s More Than Just Numbers: Accountants and
Financial Folks Study Rabbinic Texts
Second Wednesday of the Month at 8:15 a.m.

Join colleagues as traditional Jewish texts with a focus on financial/business concerns are discussed, debated and made relevant to today. Texts are in English.
