Homes for the Brave
655 Park Avenue
On February 12th, we’ll be returning to Homes for the Brave to cook and serve breakfast, and interact with the residents. Homes for the Brave provides housing, vocational training and job placement, mental health and addiction services, and life skills coaching to help individuals, especially Veterans, leave homelessness behind. We had such a large turn out of B’nai Israel volunteers last year, that we are revising the program so that all volunteers have a chance to interact, either in a “games” room, or in the dining area. The female residents of the PFC Nicholas A. Madaras Home will also be invited. We’ll meet at the Temple at 9:30, then travel to 655 Park Avenue, where on site parking is available. Appropriate for families, teens and adults. Please contact Susan Roth with any questions and to register, at firstname.lastname@example.org.
