Marsha & Bob Gillette Judaic Enrichment Fund

Jewish learning happens in many contexts. Our congregation encourages our youth to attend Eisner, Crane Lake and Six Points Sci-Tech camp – all sponsored by the Union for Reform Judaism. We also encourage our teens to travel to Israel with NFTY (The North American Federation of Temple Youth) on their L’dor Vador summer programs and EIE (The Eisendrath International Experience), a semester long academic and touring program. The Gillette Fund provides scholarships for our youth to engage in these and other Jewish experiences outside of our congregation.

BIFTY/Greenwald Scholarship Fund

This fund provides scholarships for our youth to engage in these and other Jewish experiences outside of our congregation.

We also have a number of college scholarships that are available to children of our congregants.

Fields/Nussenfeld Scholarship Fund

Intended for college and graduate students, these grants are for undergraduate students enrolled in a Jewish Studies class, students attending a URJ college student program, or students enrolled in Jewish professional graduate programs. These scholarships are funded through a generous contribution of Colonel Edward and Mrs. Marcia Fields.

Jim Abraham Education Fund for Jewish Leadership

Funded initially by a generous donation from Jim Abraham, a past president of the congregation who remained actively involved in our synagogue’s lay leadership throughout his life, this scholarship is intended for young adults who demonstrate the potential to be future synagogue leaders and offsets the cost of their participation in educational programs and other opportunities.
